The CW50 Street Team Had A Blast At The 2013 Downtown Hoedown!

What a weekend it was for Downtown Detroit as WYCD, 99.5 Detroit's Best Country, hosted The 2013 Downtown Hoedown at Comerica Park. The three day event brought out some of the best country singers and bands providing live entertainment on three different stages. The energy at the Hoedown was great! Country music lovers came out with their cowboy boots and hats as they danced and enjoyed performances from live bands, ate delicious foods, and participated in some of the event's festivities.

The CW50 Street Team had an awesome time walking around Comerica Park and talking with some passionate country music fans. WYCD's very own Rob Stone was there interacting with fans and took the time to stop by and talk with Street Team Member Jennifer Buhaj. "It's just a family friendly event," said Rob. "You can bring anyone you want here and it's all about fun." The Street Team saw why The Hoedown is such a popular event, and if you're a fan of country music, then this was the event to be at. "This is my first time being here and I'm loving it," said Breanna. "Just seeing everybody...Detroiters...we all come together and love country music...it is the best."

The 2013 Downtown Hoedown was amazing. The event provided live concerts, enjoyable festivities to do with family and friends, and food to munch on to crave that appetite. 99.5 Detroit's Country certainly knows how to celebrate country music with their annual Downtown Hoedown!
