2013 WYCD Downtown Hoedown

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls to the 2013 WYCD Downtown Hoedown returns to Downtown Detroit again celebrating their 31st anniversary. Hosted by 99.5 WYCD, Detroit's  Best Country station, it is an event for new and established artist to showcase their music to representatives of the country music industry. Sponsored by RAM Trucks, Coca Cola, and Coors Light. Featuring 3-days of great country style music with over 50 artist schedule to take the stage, including local many local Detroit artist and country music biggest national stars. Celebrity performances by Joe Nichols, Kasey James, Rachel Farley, Uncle Kracker, and many more. This event is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of eager country music fans from all over the midwest. Your favorite street team will be making a special apperance on Sunday June 2nd so make sure that you say hi!

This 3-day extravaganza will take place May 31st, June 1st, and June 2nd at Comerica Park. Tickets are on sale now for just $20 a day; childeren five and up will need to purchase a ticket as well.  All tickets are general admission. Tickets are on sale now at your local ticket master, the Joe Louis Arena box office, the Fox Theater box office, and the Hockeytown Authentics box office located in Troy. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the charity, Defeat the Label. This is one event that you would not want to miss!
