Detroit Loves Boston: Billboards Remember Marathon Bombing Victims

Brighton (CW50) - Digital billboard ads are appearing in the Detroit area in support of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Thursday morning, commuters spotted an ad on US-23 southbound displaying an Old English "D" loves Boston Red Sox "B".

The sentiment hit home for Brighton resident Jennifer Fox. "It made me tear up a little," she said.

Also on eastbound I-96, an ad showed the Twitter hashtag #prayforboston.

There is no indication of who paid for the billboard ads.
