Babies, Babies Everywhere At The Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center

Wolcott Mill welcomes some new additions to the farm with the help of the CW50 Street Team. Families from across the area came out to see baby sheep, goats, cows, pigs and chicks. Not only are the baby animals adorable, the little humans who came out to see the animals are adorable as well.

Noah couldn't get enough of baby goats, shouting out with excitement, "I love baby goats."

Even the Street Team members couldn't resist the cuddly little ones. Aaron Bryant petted a Holstein calf, and learned that Holsteins are the most popular breed of dairy cow. Debbie a volunteer said, "she's (The Calf) been here for two weeks and she's been playing with the kids and she's a sweet sweet animal." Krystle Anderson couldn't resist including a baby lamb in the package opener. Members Scotty and Jennifer join in on the action, by snuggling up with some adorable baby chickens.

It is a great event for the entire family. Both children and adults get a chance to learn about animals and interact with them. Wolcott Mill also regularly accept volunteers, "volunteering is easy and fun! Ask us about the many opportunities we have available for volunteers." www.metroparks.com
