James Callis, Battlestar Gallactica Alum, To Join 'Arrow'

DETROIT (CW50) TV Guide made a startling announcement: Another "Battlestar Gallactica" alumnus is joining CW's top-rated show "Arrow."

Who is it? James Callis, who will be remembered by both fans of "Battlestar Gallactica" and "Bridget Jones Diary" -- where he played Bridget's zany sidekick.

TV Guide says on "Arrow," Callis will play The Dodger, an "elusive international jewel thief who imposes his plans on the innocent, forcing them to carry out his crimes under duress."

Callis will reportedly appear in an episode slated for sometime next year.

In the meantime, "Arrow" returns at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 to CW50.
