Do you remember the Aggro Crag? Is this a topic of interest? My suspicion was confirmed when a voice from across the room echoed the phrase “Aggro Crag?” reassuringly. Alas, I wasn’t alone in remembering the show. 2 out of 5 colleagues knowing the obscure reference aint bad. Right?
My memory was jogged by a completely un-related exchange between a co-worker and their spouse. The spouse said the co-worker was “aggro” during a somewhat heated phone conversation about a garage door being stuck. Not that any of that matters, but I feel obligated to explain how I ended up watching a YouTube video of the Nickelodeon show “Guts.”
Apparently the term “aggro” describes the likelihood of a World of Warcraft character being attacked … or something. It’s short for aggression. I’m not sure if this is useful knowledge, but I can’t go back now. I must share.
Watch the video above and enjoy some mid-90s TV nostalgia with me on this Wayback Wednesday. Turn it up, because the volume is low on the recording. The color commentary is sometimes the best part!
While you’re at it, pick up a “Guts” I Climbed The Aggro Crag T-shirt from the Nick.com store.
