Fashion Review: Steve Harvey’s Menswear Collection Has Swagger
By Raquel Parks
Steve Harvey has become well known for bringing big laughs as an entertainer. However, he is also famous for his signature style. Whether he is hosting his TV show or gracing the cover of one of his best-selling books, Harvey is always been dressed to impress for any occasion in his distinctive suits.
Harvey has mastered the art of keeping his style distinguished and sophisticated while also mixing in surprising elements of color and key accessories to create an appealing look.
He’s not afraid to take chances when it comes to his fashion yet he always keeps it tasteful and gentleman-like. From the ties to the cuff links, the details seem to always be effortlessly in place on Steve Harvey.
The demand to look good is not easy but it is necessary when one is in the spotlight as much as Harvey is. He juggles several roles in entertainment: actor, comedian, author, radio host, and TV show host. But he also shines as a designer with his line of menswear called The Steve Harvey Collection.
The collection contains four unique lines: The Boardroom Collection, The Steve Harvey Signature Collection, The Couture Collection and The Steve Harvey Custom Collection. Each line tailors to the style and taste of different men. They also provide looks that cater to the occasion and different settings.
Find The Steve Harvey Collection at Detroit area K&G Fashion Superstores. They carry some of the styles in-store, but through their website you can browse many of the styles and have them shipped to the store free of charge.

He also has a line for children called Young Kings Collection. Each line provides everything a man needs to look his best: neckwear, cuff links, men watches, headwear, dress shirts, dress shoes, and suits.
Who better to style men in a confident matter than a man with a key touch of slick, personal style? For example, on Monday’s show, Harvey kept it cool, classy, and sharp in his attire on his self titled TV morning talk show on CBS.
He wore a black suit that included a matching vest, a white collared shirt, a pink tie and matching handkerchief that included a hint of pink and fuscia. Simply put, his ensemble was pure perfection.
His combination of basic menswear and use of color was handled tastefully, without being too much. It’s a technique he has certainly has down to the tee. It makes you wonder: what will he wear next?
Stay tuned to his shows to find out! Watch “Steve Harvey,” weekdays at 4 p.m. on CW50 and on CBS 62 at 9 a.m. Get even more Steve Harvey on “Family Feud” at 7 and 9 p.m. on CBS 62.
