STATE CHAMPS! Lake Orion Vs. Macomb Dakota
Were now in the final stretch of the high school football playoffs and this week it's the Regional Finals, and for the best coverage tune into STATE CHAMPS! High School Sports Show on CW50 Detroit Sunday mornings at 11:30 a.m. hosted by Lorne Plant.
STATE CHAMPS! will be hosting this week's show from Lake Orion High School where our main event will be the Division 1 Football Regional Final between Lake Orion (10-1) vs. Macomb Dakota (10-1) - Friday night at 7 p.m. The last time Lake Orion and Dakota played each other was the 2007 Division 1 Regional Final, and Dakota won that meeting 26-14 and they later went on to win the Division 1 Football State Championship in that season. STATE CHAMPS! will also have cameras at these football regional finals this weekend.
- Detroit Catholic Central (7-4) at Plymouth (9-2) - Division 1 Regional Final - Saturday at 1 p.m.
- Detroit Cass Tech (9-2) at Saline (10-1) - Division 1 Regional Final - Friday at 7 p.m.
- Oak Park (9-2) at Wyandotte Roosevelt (10-1) - Division 2 Regional Final - Friday at 7 p.m.
- Detroit East English Village Prep (9-2) at Orchard Lake Saint Mary's (9-2) - Division 3 Regional Final - Saturday at 1 p.m.
STATE CHAMPS! will have highlights of the Division 1 Boys Soccer Final between East Kentwood vs. Grand Blanc and the Division 4 Boys Soccer State Final between Hamtramck Frontier International vs. Grand Rapids Covenant Christian.
Also, we'll have highlights of the Cross Country State Finals from the Michigan International Speedway from Brooklyn.
