This week on Street Beat, host Ken Bryant Jr. looks at organizations in Michigan that are assisting children.

Up first, Jane Zehnder-Merrell, the Kids Count in Michigan Project Director, talks about how Michigan raks in child well-being.

Then, Sam Abrams, Manager of Player Relations and Youth Sports programs, talks about the upcoming Willie Horton's Batting for Kids event benefiting Don Bosco Hall.

Next, several members of a local ice skating team that competes in a new sport called Theatre on Ice stop by to explain the sport and their recent competition. Richard Brown, Senior team coach/skater; Emily Griswold, Senior team skater, plus Emily Denhof and Mandy, Emma, and Jessie Vermillion from Harmony Theatre Company are the guests.

Finally, Sherrie Handrinos, event planner, talks about the 10,000 Holes of Golf event that supports scholarships for college students.
