Black Stone Cherry is currently on a European tour. According to their official Twitter feed they’ll be announcing August dates at any moment. They came through Detroit recently and sat down with Greg to get answers to your questions about the band.

Mostly playing in the Flint area, Ben Wells talked about how it is to play in Detroit, “Last time we were in Detroit was in 2008 with Shinedown. Everytime we come up through here we hardly ever get to do our own shows here … So it is good to be back here. There’s lots of Black Stone Cherry fans in this area.”

The band has a strong bond considering that they have been together with the same guys since 2001. Lead vocalist, lead guitarist Chris Robertson puts it this way. “You look at 98 percent of bands today and none of them have the same members from start to finish.”
