From lace up knee-high boots and elegant heels to cutting edge wedges, this is the place to find something unique without having to spend hundreds of dollars.

Naka is an indie boutique located in a community just outside of Detroit. Naka means “beautiful” in Shona, one of the languages spoken in Zimbabwe, and the name says it all. The items sold in the store are beautiful, organic and unique. The owner, Kelly Pettibone Lapointe, has a strong vision for her store, which is to support her community and to support independent designers and artists. To complete any day to evening look, a pair of earrings are the final touch. At Naka, there are several elegant hoops to meet that need. Since they are made from lightweight materials, ear lobe fatigue is no longer a factor.
