Street Beat can be seen Sunday at 11 AM

This week, First Forecast Mornings Traffic Reporter Randy Bhirdo takes over for the vacationing Syma Chowdhry as Street Beat looks at the transportation scene in Michigan. 

Randy finds out about the condition of Michigan roads from Rob Morosi, the Communications Director for the Michigan Department of Transportation. 

Then Community Correspondent William Malcolm gets the latest on two-wheel transportation from bike builder and designer Mike Han of Street Culture Mash. 

Malcom’s next guests, Student Cedric Poole and IADT instructor Julie McEvoy, show how students are training to become the automotive designers of the future. 

Finally, Randy takes on the dangers of texting while driving, teen drivers, and other driving concerns with Jack Peet, the Traffic Safety Manager from AAA.
