As summer draws to a close, the Street Beat focus turns to education.  

Host Syma Chowdhry talks with GM Foundation Sr. Manager Sheri Marshall and Faye Nelson, CEO of the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy, about literacy and the Reading and Rhythm on the RiverFront program aimed at increasing interest in literacy.  GM Foundation    Detroit RiverFront Conservancy

Then the Street Beat Education Correspondents – LaTanya, Renee, and Frank Hall – provide tips on preventing bullying and a child's right to privacy.
