This week on Street Beat, Syma Chowdhry and the Community Correspondents look at organizations encouraging better health and nutrition.

First, Syma talks with Paul Propson from Covenant Community Care who provides background about the new 5716 Wellness clinic in southwest Detroit.

Then Community Correspondent Austin Dobreff finds out about two programs helping teens improve their nutrition and fitness from Janina Jacobs of RDAC and Charletta Tutt, Executive Director for Clear Purpose Foundation.

Community Correspondent Ben Falik talks to Noam Kimelman, a founder of Get Fresh Detroit, about bringing healthy food into the city.

Finally, Syma learns tips for eye care and fireworks safety from Dr. Norbert Czajkowski from the Fraser Eye Care Center.
