DGGs attend Vodka Vodka!
Prime Location? "dah"
Metro Detroit's hottest crowd? "dah"
Ingenious Soviet-inspired design? "dah"
Unlimited Vodka sampling from fifteen different brands? "ohhh, dah!"
("dah" means "yes" in Russian...there's a theme here, people! :))
Metro Times' second Annual Vodka Vodka was a night of pure, unadulterated FUN! Held at the Royal Oak Farmers Market, hundreds piled in to experience this award-winning event. Surrounded by the sounds of DJ Jenny La Femme, excited patrons, Vodka experts, and food from our favorite Michigan restaurants, Detroit's Gossip Girls were all-smiles from beginning to end.
More than just a stiff drink
Though Vodka Vodka was one of the greatest parties I've attended this year, I was even more impressed by the couth Metro Times sustained in throwing an event so strongly centered on drinking. Not only did proceeds of every ticket sale benefit Forgotten Harvest, a foundation which feeds Michigan families every year, but I couldn't help but notice the plethora of HUGE coasters promoting The Designate, a company that gets you AND your car home safely. Being responsible is so fabulous!
The girls and I ended the evening in a photo booth, capturing the conclusion of yet another successful night "living the fab life."
You know you love us, XOXO
Lauren
