Once again, the Motor City welcomes The North American International Auto Show this year! This elegant tradition has been around since 1907, so we all know by now the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words Auto Show - cars and LOTS of them…but what about everything else that makes the Auto Show, the Auto Show?

The Auto Show is open to the public from January 15th – January 23rd, and is located inside Cobo Center. Scheduled times for showcases from January 15th – January 22nd are 9 AM – 10 PM, but there's no admittance after 9 PM. Sunday, January 23rd, the Auto Show is scheduled for 9 AM – 7 PM, but there's no admittance after 6 PM, so get down there early, folks!

Tickets
for this affair are $12 for adults (ages 13+), $6 for kids (ages 7-12), and kids 6 and under get in free with a parent or guardian. There's also a discounted rate of $8 per ticket available for groups of 30 or more! Remember, tickets are non-refundable and cash only.

Parking is available at Joe Louis Arena from 6:30 AM – 11:00 PM, at the Cobo Roof Deck from 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM, or at Millennium Garage from 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM. You could even try a shuttle for 50 cents a person.

Food is available at the Auto Show, but not on the floor where all the cars will be. That being the case, you would have to go to a vendor inside of Cobo Center if you want to grab some grub. Food is typically anywhere from $3 - $8 depending on what you're looking for, plus you're in the heart of Downtown, so you could always find a bite to eat around the city.

Ford, along with a few other brands, also unveiled their "electric" future in the auto industry with a showcase of their latest electric cars. You can even expect to drop your jaw a few times when you check out the more luxurious vehicles like Bentley, Porsche, Maybach, Ferrari, and of course a few others.
