SPOTTED: Gossip Girl star hits the BIG SCREEN!

With every scenario that makes for the perfect country song…Country Strong is a hit!  DGG Bethany and I snagged tix to a sneak peek of the flick starring the Queen Bee herself, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester! 

Leighton's performance as a young, impressionable beauty queen with a huge case of talent and a bad case of stage fright blew the audience away!  Judging by her first starring role in a movie, Leighton's music career is looking equally as bright as her future in film!

Country Strong, now in theaters, tells the story of fallen country star, Kelly Canter (seamlessly portrayed by Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow), fresh out of rehab and aching for a comeback.  With the help of her manager/husband James (country music legend Tim McGraw), a young pageant queen turned singer (Meester), and Kelly's rough-around-the-edges, but oh-so-sexy rehab sponsor who moonlights as a bar singer (Garrett Hedlund), she hits the road for the resurrection tour that will change all of their lives...but no one said it would be easy.  

Explore the emotional rise, demise, and tests of strength these characters face as you screen Country Strong…which, of course, is DGG APPROVED!
