The Smithsonian comes to town to help Detroit-area residents identify and preserve the items tucked away in our homes that tell our stories. On the next American Black Journal, Stephen Henderson of The Detroit Free Press talks with Dr. Rex Ellis, Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History & Culture and Robert Thornton, Program Officer, Skillman Foundation
