Not All Wrapped Up

Am I the only one who hasn't started Christmas shopping?  Normally, I'm more buttoned up when it comes to this stuff.

…Not so much this year.

What are the chances my gifts will arrive on time to my out-of-town relatives?

At least there is less pressure with the in-town peeps. I've still got a little more time to hit the store and get things wrapped…or maybe not wrapped. Truth be told, I cringe when wrapping since I can't cut a straight line to save my life.  It's always jagged and embarrassing…it must be because I'm a lefty. 

Last year, I put gifts in storage boxes and tied them shut with ribbons. This solution worked out better than I expected.  The boxes were rigid, so the gift inside was protected.  Not only did I cut down on wasted paper from my crooked cutting, but it saved tons of time! 

Before you roll your eyes, they actually look really cool once you add the ribbon.  My boxes came from IKEA, although you can find them all over the place. Get creative with the ribbons and bows and I'm sure you'll get compliments this season. :-)
