Athletes Adopt-A-Family

Athletes Adopting Families
It's so great to see people getting together around the holidays for a great cause. Detroit's elite joined forces to raise money for Volunteers of America's Adopt-A-Family program in style.
The evening of music, dancing, cocktails, and great food happened at the beautifully decorated Reserve in Birmingham. Detroit's well-dressed athletes, socialites, and fashionistas mixed and mingled over cocktails and appetizers, and got autographs from their favorite Detroit athletes before the festivities began. The night was loaded with star power: I spotted Karen Buscemi, editor of StyleLine magazine, Pistons' Bad Boy Rick Mahorn, along with current players from the Detroit Lions and Red Wings, just to name a few. It's so touching to see these famous names giving back to Michigan families in need!

The evening moved into dinner, a silent auction, and a fashion show from Golden Hanger by Henry Spencer. We had the privilege of modeling in the show along with some other local female celebrities. Your Detroit's Gossip Girls were even joined on the runway by Maxim model and actress Tiffany Stone!

It's not the first time the Detroit's Gossip Girls have modeled for Golden Hanger, and yet we were still blown away by the sexy and trendy looks that Henry showed. I got to strut in a fabulous black minidress, Lauren rocked the runway in a feather frock, and Danielle shined in a sequined one-shoulder number. It was so much fun to wear the Golden Hanger creations on the catwalk for a cause!

The night ended with a buffet of delicious desserts and gift bags provided by the night's sponsors. It was a fabulous evening of glamour and giving!

I'll keep it fabulous and keep you in the loop!

XOXO,
Bethany
